We are in the business of building relationships Your passion and understanding of regional businesses will help you and your client base thrive. Lead a team of high-performing business bankers in the delivery of outstanding service, support and successful outcomes to our customers.

Your team will focus on growing quality business across a highly diverse range of commercial and agricultural sectors whilst achieving business objectives and growth.

While this critical role is accountable for the overall business relationships in the region, you will not manage a portfolio. This will enable you to fully utilize your exceptional coaching ability to engage and mentor your team and clients towards success.

With flexibility on location within South West Queensland, some days you may be working from our offices, a client-site or remotely. We encourage flexibility for you to meet client needs, and your goals inside and outside of work.

More specifically, you will:

Ensure the team provides responsive, professional and quality service, exceeding client expectations

Build strong relationships with clients, retaining and growing their business, while utilising your network to identify and pursue new opportunities

Drive deal execution with proven skills in origination, structuring and negotiation of complex solutions

Establish or continue to build your profile and presence on behalf of CommBank in this key region.

We want to hear from you if you have:

Experience leading and developing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer focus and client engagement

Exceptional commercial acumen and credit understanding with a strong risk management focus

A passion to develop a strong personal brand and to become a leader in the community

Commitment to the region with relevant agribusiness or sales leadership experience outside of the banking sector

A tertiary qualification in Business/Finance and/or Commerce would be highly regarded.
