About The Role
The Category Manager will be responsible for managing ANZ's Property category and sub-categories, overseeing the sourcing of that category, focusing on the long-term direction of the category and the achievement of strategic goals.
Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008
Work Hours: Full time, 40 hrs/week
What will your day look like?
* Managing the development and execution of Property category strategies, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
* Overseeing and executing the strategic sourcing of the category end to end.
* Undertaking data‑driven analysis of spending patterns, market trends, industry benchmarks and supplier capabilities to inform category strategies and category profiles as well as drive continuous improvements.
* Identifying and managing commercial, contractual, operational, financial, reputational, ethical and supply chain risks to minimise negative impacts on category objectives while encouraging opportunity and innovation.
* Tracking category and sub‑category performance, leveraging data‑driven analysis to identify gaps and implement corrective actions to ensure that targets for cost savings, quality and service are met.
* Overseeing and/or contributing to end‑to‑end sourcing for assigned sub‑categories, collaborating with the Strategic Sourcing Team to plan contract negotiations and establish supply arrangements that align with category strategy and deliver value for money outcomes.
* Partnering with Supplier Relationship Management team to build and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure reliable and sustainable partnerships.
* Providing governance, advice and guidance to internal stakeholders to build expertise in procurement categories across ANZ.

Key qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* Professional Certification in Procurement.
