Who will you be working with?
Wabtec's Digital Intelligence Signaling & Systems team is a recognized industry leader in the successful delivery of complex integrated system projects, focusing on project execution, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction.
How will you make a difference?
The Store Person will be responsible for effectively managing the inventory in the store, assisting with stock control, stock reconciliation, stock orders, and stock received/distributed. The role supports the Inventory and supply chain department, maintaining cost‐effective procedures, and ensuring the operational needs of the team are met.
Where is the position located?
Remote Western Australia (FIFO) | Port Hedland, 2 week on, 2 week off roster.
What will your typical day look like?
* Receiving goods and storing appropriately in order
* Processing sales/orders in a timely manner
* Receipting received stock for entry into the inventory system
* Following supply chain procedures to ensure a consistent approach
* Ensuring staff and visitors are aware of and follow processes/procedures for depot yard/store operations and responding to store callouts as required
* Maintaining accurate information in inventory systems
* Processing returns and applicable credits
* Recording all relevant materials and equipment in storage and inventory/financial records
* Maintaining material and consumable stockpiles in a tidy state, ensuring quantities are sufficient at all times
* Keeping a register for component tracking
* Facilitating the testing and tagging of portable electrical equipment in the depot and keeping appropriate records
* Reviewing and making recommendations on underutilised stock
What do we want to know about you?

* Forklift license
* Computer literacy
* ~2 years' experience working as a Store Person
* Product knowledge
* Organizational skills
* Communication and interpersonal skills
* Problem solving abilities
