Head of Department - Science - Ipswich State High School
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Head of Department – Science to join our leadership team and lead our Science Faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the department, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning, contributing to the strategic development of the curriculum and have a demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with staff and students. This is a temporary full‐time position until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.

* Lead strategically and professionally by remaining future‐focused and engaging in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
* Manage departmental responsibilities effectively by understanding relevant legislation and policies and coordinating human, financial, facility and curriculum resources to achieve goals.
