Job Description:
Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD) is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high quality person centred nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses, and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH).
The Community Nursing Service is an integral part of the total health care delivery system, providing nursing care to people in the community setting. Our team works closely with each client, their carer, General Practitioner and other relevant service providers to develop a plan that meets the client's care needs.
This role requires a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse who can provide professional nursing care to clients in the community setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong commitment to delivering high quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver high quality person centred nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses, and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH)
- Work closely with each client, their carer, General Practitioner and other relevant service providers to develop a plan that meets the client's care needs
- Provide professional nursing care to clients in the community setting
Requirements:
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or be able to independently, legally live and work in Australia
- Must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
