Role Overview

Aptella is seeking an experienced OEM Business Development Manager to join our team and champion the Civil sales strategy across the NSW/ ACT. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with regional personnel to achieve revenue and operational objectives while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and service.

You are a driven and results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of the civil construction industry. With proven experience in selling complex technology solutions, you excel at building strong relationships with OEM dealers and understanding their unique needs. You have a solid technical background in machine control systems and HPGPS, allowing you to confidently communicate the value and benefits of these solutions to clients.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your knowledge of the construction space to identify new business opportunities and grow market share. Your consultative approach to sales, combined with your ability to navigate complex sales cycles, positions you as a trusted partner to OEM dealers, helping them implement cutting-edge technology to enhance their operations.

You are self-motivated, with excellent communication and negotiation skills, and you are passionate about delivering solutions that drive efficiency and productivity in the construction industry. Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, establish, and maintain business development opportunities within the OEM market segment in NSW/ ACT.
- Collaborate with other regions to align OEM activities and provide strategic direction.
- Ensure NSW/ACT remains a major player in the market while upholding high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Build strong, valued customer relationships and respond to customer requirements in a timely manner.
- Monitor customer and competitor activities, market trends, and sales opportunities to enhance Aptella's market share.
- Work directly with OEMs and regional sales teams to develop, meet, and exceed sales targets.
- Provide quotations, negotiate orders, and present detailed proposals to clients.
- Contribute to the development of annual sales budgets and participate in industry events, conferences, and other company activities.

About You:

- Proven experience in business development, sales strategy, and relationship management within the OEM or related industries.
- Strong understanding of the Civil market and the ability to identify growth opportunities within NSW/ ACT.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on driving safety culture and adherence to WHS standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, capable of influencing both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively across regional teams and lead cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and contributing to business growth.
- Proficient in using CRM systems, with a preference for experience in Dynamics 365 or similar platforms.
- Self-motivated and proactive in pursuing professional development and staying informed about market trends.
