Comlink Australia is looking for a dedicated and organised Program Officer to join our Client Services team. This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to specialised programs that make a real difference in the lives of participants and volunteers.

About the Role

As a Program Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the coordination, delivery and quality of our specialised Client Services programs, including the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), which supports volunteers to visit participants to provide friendship and companionship to older people.

Day-to-day work will include:

- Conducting phone screens and/or interviews with participants and volunteers to assess suitability and make matches based on similar interests, hobbies, etc.
- Assist with volunteer onboarding, setup and completion of compliance documentation
- Supporting program quality, compliance and reporting requirements
- Engaging with community stakeholders to promote programs and establish referral pathways
- Assisting with administration, data entry and program documentation
- Addressing any feedback or concerns raised by participants and identifying potential solutions or next steps to resolve these
- Contributing to continuous improvement and ensuring high standards aligned with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards

What You’ll Bring

- Qualifications in Community Services, Human Services, Aged Care, Health Sector Management, or similar (minimum Cert III)
- At least 3 years’ experience in the community or aged care sector
- An understanding of the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Support at Home services
- Excellent customer service, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong administration and data entry capability with attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative and values-driven team
- Understanding of specialised service needs across diverse community groups
