About the Position
ALS Global have an exciting opportunity available in Client Services in our Melbourne Food and Pharmaceutical business, located in Scoresby.
The primary responsibilities of the role will be to provide excellent support to our existing clientele as well as leadership and development of the Client Services and Field Operations teams.
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, the duties of this position include but are not limited to:
* Client and customer service– Communication and engage with clients via phone and email.
* Face-to-face meetings to develop and maintain existing relationships with our clients and ensure overall compliance with ALS initiatives.
* Ensure the quality of information is maintained and recorded at a high standard.
* Facilitating the resolution of client queries in a timely and professional manner.
* Work with the Field Operations team to schedule jobs.
* Co-ordination of run sheets for couriers, ensuring samples reach our lab in timely manner.
* Report client complaints through ALS systems and ensure timely and efficient manner.
* Leadership and development of the Client Services and Field Operations teams.
* Manage daily workflow, including delegation and coordination of tasks.
* Promotion of the ALS brand in the industry.
* Liaise with Sales, Quality and Laboratory Managers to keep them up to date with client changes/requirements.
* General administration tasks including using LIMS to manage contact details and preparing invoices.
* Manage workflow turnaround times of Certificate of Analysis report delivery to clients.
* Management of contracts, service agreements and projects as assigned.
* Undertake training as required.
* Any other duties as requested by Line Manager or General Manager.

To be successful in this role you will have:
* Seeking candidates with client services experience or a similar customer-focused role.
* Team leadership skills and ability to coordinate tasks, network and work collaboratively.
* Previous laboratory/sample receipt/LIMS (Laboratory Information management Systems) experience preferred, however, not essential.
* Passion and motivation as well as being a goal-driven team player.
* Thrives in dynamic environments and is committed to achieving excellence through collaboration and initiative.
* Demonstrate expected levels of productivity.
* Skills in planning and project monitoring.
* Ability to develop strong external and internal working relationships.
