Job Title: Mechanical Fitter – Fixed Plant
The Mechanical Fitter is a critical role within the Maintenance Department, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing mechanical systems and components at fixed plant locations. The position requires strong communication skills, ability to work safely, and adherence to operational procedures.
Main responsibilities include:
* Diagnosis of faults and equipment breakdowns;
* Estimation of time and materials required;
* Carrying out repairs and component change-outs;
* Undertaking preventative maintenance inspections;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification;
* Satisfactory NPC clearance;
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in fixed plant mechanical maintenance;
A Forklift Licence is highly desirable.
