Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Occupational Therapist based in Adelaide, SA, with some flexibility for remote work. The Occupational Therapist will assess, design, and implement personalized treatment plans to support clients in improving their independence and quality of life. The role involves providing therapeutic interventions, conducting thorough assessments, documenting progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. The successful candidate may work with clients across various age groups, including children and adults, in areas such as rehabilitation, pediatrics, and daily living activities.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in Occupational Therapy, including experience with rehabilitation and facilitating recovery and functional independence
* Basic understanding of principles in Medicine, such as diagnosing and addressing physical and cognitive conditions
* Expertise in working with specific populations, such as Pediatrics, and tailoring appropriate therapeutic approaches
* Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to interact empathetically with clients and collaborate effectively with team members
* Relevant professional registration and/or certification as an Occupational Therapist
* Dedication to ongoing professional development and keeping up with best practices in the field
* Experience in clinical or community settings is advantageous
