Who you are

As the Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for managing the estimating process of tenders and validation of ongoing works. You will manage and coordinate the estimating team, overseeing the preparation of tender estimates ensuring implementation and continuous improvement in the estimating function and procedures. You will be able to communicate effectively to Senior Management regarding the costing methodology, accuracy, risk, opportunities, and supporting evidence to confirm the estimates accuracy.
What you will bring to the team:
1. Tertiary Qualified in the Engineering or related field
2. Minimum 15 years’ experience in the engineering and construction sector
3. Considerable experience as an Estimating Manager/Lead/Principal/Senior in tender preparation
4. Proficient in the use of Estimating software. It would be advantageous to have experience with Candy.
5. Demonstrated leadership capability, coaching, mentoring, and developing the estimating team
6. Reporting and analytical experience
7. Strong communication skills
8. Strong organizational abilities and time management skills
