The role
You'll be hands-on, visible on the floor, and responsible for keeping the store running smoothly across peak trading periods. This role suits a manager who can lead from the front, keep the team focused, and deliver results in a store where the pressure is real.
* Lead day-to-day operations across busy trade periods
* Manage service, presentation, food standards, and store routines
* Coach and develop shift leaders and casual team members
* Support the Store Manager with training and performance
* Drive team engagement, pace, and accountability
* Ensure the store is clean, compliant, and customer-ready at all times
About you
You're not coming from a quiet retail environment. You understand what "busy" actually means. You've led teams in grocery, convenience, QSR, hospitality or FMCG, and you know how to get results without losing your people.
* 3-5 years management experience in a fast-paced environment
* Confident leading large, young and diverse teams
* Strong standards around food, presentation, and service
* Calm under pressure, quick decision-maker, strong multitasker
* Hands-on, organised, and comfortable jumping in where needed
* Flexible to work a mix of mornings, nights and weekend shifts
