Are you a driven leader looking for a rewarding career in operations? Bunge is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team within the Port Pirie/Crystal Brook group of sites.
About the role
We are currently seeking a dynamic leader to coordinate grain operations and resources across our Port Pirie group, which includes sites at Port Pirie and Crystal Brook, to achieve high levels of safety, quality, efficiency, and customer service. Our central region spans across the lower/mid north, and Yorke Peninsula; and the role of Supervisor is an integral part of our supply chain.
With the support and guidance of the Operations Coordinator, this role has operational responsibility for all storage and handling functions including staff and systems performance. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering results.
Duties
* Supervise and coordinate grain receival, storage, and outloading activities.
* Manage a team of operational staff, providing guidance and support to achieve production targets.
* Maintain accurate records of grain transactions, quality assessments, and operational reports.
* Enforce and champion safety protocols, ensuring a secure and compliant workplace.
* Coordinate stock movements and manage inventory to optimize operations.
* Conduct regular equipment inspections and ensure seamless facility maintenance.
* Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
* Cultivate lasting relationships with our grower customers, ensuring exceptional service.

About you
* Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse workforce.
* Strong interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
* Proven experience in supervising a team.
* Relevant operational experience, preferably gained in a bulk grain handling environment.
* Sound understanding and a commitment to OH&S regulations
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
