Overview

Cummins Technician Apprenticeship – Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology. Undertake a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR31120). Working under the supervision of a qualified Cummins Technician, you will learn everything that comes with the diagnosis and repair of Cummins engines and products.

Responsibilities

* Undergo a Certificate III trade qualification while developing practical skills in diagnosing and repairing Cummins engines and products.
* Participate in on-the-job training and off-the-job study to earn the Certificate III trade qualification.
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support workshop operations and safety.


About you / Qualifications

* A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
* A passion for working with our products and in the industry.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
* Excellent language, literacy, and numeracy skills.
* Right to work in Australia; willingness to work across regional areas and rotate through different departments to gain experience on automotive, industrial, marine, and mining engine products as you progress through your apprenticeship.
* Preference to have completed year 12 or equivalent.
* A strong focus on safety and wellbeing that will lead to a successful career at Cummins.
* Willingness to embrace diversity and make Cummins a great place to work.
