Senior Automation Tester (Mobile, Web & API)
Contract: 6 months (possible extension)
Rate: $750 - $785 Per Day
Location: 2 days per week in office

Objective Deliver high-quality automated testing solutions across mobile, web, and API platforms, ensuring strong product quality and reliable releases. Take end-to-end ownership of test design, automation, execution, and reporting within Agile teams to improve coverage, reduce defects, and accelerate feedback cycles.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for mobile, web, and API applications, aligned to agreed testing strategies and standards.
* Provide hands-on expertise with mobile automation tools and frameworks (e.g. WebdriverIO, Appium, Espresso, UI Automator, XCUITest), as well as web and API automation.
* Develop and maintain automated tests using Java, with supporting tools such as TestNG and Maven.
* Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Test Leads to refine requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure effective test coverage.
* Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, monitor results, and collaborate with teams to quickly resolve failures.
* Prepare and present clear test reports, communicating status, risks, and defects to stakeholders across environments.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks, tools, and processes based on hands-on delivery experience.
Essentials
* Strong experience with Java, Maven, and TestNG
* Hands-on experience in Appium, WebDriver IO, Espresso, or any equivalent open-source mobile automation tools
Skills & Experience
* 8+ years’ experience as a Senior Test Analyst / Senior Automation Tester or similar role.
* Strong hands-on background in test automation across mobile, web, and API layers.
* Practical experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, REST Assured, or equivalent.
* Proficiency in at least one major programming/scripting language (e.g. Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python).
* Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban), embedding testing into sprint and CI/CD workflows.
* Proven ability to design effective test cases, troubleshoot automation issues, and clearly communicate risks and outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Notes
* This is a hands-on technical automation role (not a Test Automation Architect position).
* Focus is on mobile app automation (iOS & Android), with supporting web and API coverage.
* The team already has functional testing support; this role is focused on automation only .
