Role: Senior Talent & Partnerships Manager

Location: Sydney Head Office (On-Site)

Always Human is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Talent & Partnerships Manager to drive the marketability and commercial proposition of our athletes and creators.

The Talent & Partnerships division of Always Human exclusively represents leading talent, including next-gen global football icon, Mary Fowler, 3 x Olympic champion, Jessica Fox, global cricket superstar, Ellyse Perry, and former Wallaby, Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins. We also represent a number of brands in securing and delivering talent partnerships for their marketing initiatives.

The candidate will be able to demonstrate proven successworking with high-profile talent, inclusive of but not limited to, delivering on a strategic plan to further strengthen a talent’s profile and brand; identifying, pitching and negotiating commercial opportunities and blue chip partnerships; ideation and development of talent-owned brands, products and content projects; and the creation of best-in-class talent profile presentations and assets.

Key responsibilities include:

Talent Marketing

* Develop and execute comprehensive talent marketing strategies to build and promote the marketability and commercial longevity of talent, including, but not limited to, profile development, commercial partnerships, publishing, IP & licensing, speaking engagements, public relations, social media, content creation and activations

Commercial Partnerships & Negotiation

* Identify, negotiate and drive commercial partnerships that leverage the talent’s image and brand positioning, while achievement measurable revenue targets for both the talent and our agency
* Develop and pitch talent profile presentations to targeted brands, companies and organisations

Contract Management

* Manage and lead contract negotiations
* Draft, review and assess all talent contracts, ensuring favourable terms and conditions which also protect the best interests of the talent

Product Equity & Licensing

* Ideateand drive the development of brands and products talent have equity in
* Identify co-partnership IP licensing and royalty opportunities for talent

Day-to Day Management

* Serve as a key point of contact for our talent and creators, guiding them through business decisions and partnership opportunities. Provide ongoing support and advice to ensure their commercial interests are met
* Oversee the day-to-day execution of a talent’s electronic calendar, schedules and logistics, as coordinated by the Talent and Partnership Executive
* Be available to respond to routine talent and client communication outside of service hours

Relationship Management

* Proactively establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to create collaborative opportunities that benefit both the talent and their partners
* Provide exceptional organisational and relationship skills, ensuring high quality and responsive service to talent and stakeholders at all times
* Ensure positive fulfilment and sentiment of talent’s deliverables with all stakeholders

Media Relations :

* Identify and executestrategic opportunities for talent in media
* Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, managing requests and determining what is relevant and beneficial for the talent

Market Insights & Trends :

* Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging platforms, and market opportunities to keep talent at the forefront of the digital and commercial landscape.
* Identify and advise on new revenue streams such as product lines, exclusive content, and licensing opportunities.

Crisis Management & Reputation Oversight:

* Manage and provide council for any talent issues that may arise personally and commercially
* Proactively manage and mitigate potential risks to the talents reputation
* Develop and implement crisis communication plans when needed

Talent Assets:

* Identify new talent assets to create, leverage and commercialise
* Oversee the day-to-day execution of collating talent media clippings, marketing assets and content, as coordinated by the Talent and Partnerships Executive
* Ensure the talent’s social media content, content plans and copy are of a high quality, and the Talent and Partnerships Executive publishes on behalf of the Talent when required

Budget & Financial Management:

* Develop revenue targets for both the talent and business, working closely with the agency finance team
* Budget management, monitoring and reporting, inclusive of maintaining up to date talent revenue and expenses sheets for the talent, agency finance team and talent’s accountant
* Lead weekly WIP meetings on behalf of the Talent & Partnerships division that highlight the talent’s latest results (professionally and commercially), works in progress and future opportunities
* Cross-functional collaboration with the broader Always Human teams to leverage planned Talent and Partnership initiatives and activities
* Provide strong leadership, managing up and down within a team, and supporting the career path of junior team members
* Have a collaborative spirit to work towards the best outcome for talent, stakeholders and the business

Key Qualifications:

* Proven experience (5+ years) in talent management, partnerships, or brand marketing within the sports, entertainment or influencer industries
* Strong understanding of sports talent commercialisation, creator economies, and trends within digital marketing, sponsorship, and influencer marketing
* Demonstrated success in securing high-value partnerships, negotiating contracts, and delivering profitable outcomes for talent and organisation
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels, from talent to executives
* A strategic thinker with a creative mindset, able to leverage marketing opportunities across various channels to build and amplify talent brands
* Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously
* Passion for sports, digital content, and the creator economy, with a keen eye for emerging trends and new opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working with high-profile athletes, sports organisations, and/or global brands
* Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and content creation workflows
* A robust network of industry contacts within sports, entertainment, and influencer spaces
