Responsibilities
* Oversee the establishment and upkeep of the gardens and grounds as well as maintenance of the complex within Parque Vista Retirement Estate
* Horticultural and grounds development, maintenance and monitoring
* Garden beds re-planting and maintenance to maximise seasonal conditions
* Pruning of trees and shrubs
* Lawn mowing, edging, fertilising and weeding
* Clearing and removal of garden refuse
* Path, drains and edge repair and maintenance
* Ensuring fences and retaining walls are in good repair
* Routine repair work and maintenance within the site
* Service scheduling and maintenance planning for gardening machinery/equipment (e.g., mowers) according to manufacturers' recommendations
What you will bring
* Certificate III in Horticulture, Parks and Gardens or related field (highly regarded)
* Previous experience in general and commercial maintenance and gardening
* Knowledge of trade resources and suppliers of materials
* Current manual driver's licence
* Exceptional people and interpersonal skills
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills for working with various stakeholders
* Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
