Medical Consultant: Delivering High-Quality Care in Rural Settings
This role involves providing specialist medical services to patients in a dynamic rural hospital environment. As a Medical Consultant, you will lead the clinical management of patients across both the Emergency Department and Inpatient Unit, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care to diverse patient groups, including those with mental health conditions and paediatric patients. Experience in emergency care, resuscitation, airway maintenance, and circulatory support is essential.
In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also have experience in operational management, supervision, and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff. You must demonstrate a commitment to delivering safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards.

What We're Looking For:
* A Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification.
* Fellowship of the Australian College Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) or the Royal Australian College of General Practice (RACGP).
* Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration.
* Extensive experience in rural clinical practice.
