About the Role
This casual position is available at the Sea Acres Rainforest Centre in Port Macquarie. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing professional customer service at the Visitor Centre and visitor information on all aspects of national parks and the local region.
Responsibilities include processing bookings, collecting, and reconciling park entry fees and retail/merchandise sales. This role will be on a casual basis with a 7-day rotating roster and includes working weekends, public holidays, and peak periods such as school holidays and long weekends.

About You
We are looking for an individual who has experience in providing quality and courteous customer service in a professional manner. The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in retail or hospitality, working directly with customers and supporting/resolving queries.
* Good communication skills to engage with customers, stakeholders, volunteers, and staff across multiple teams.
* Able to work autonomously and make decisions using initiative and within agreed procedures and policies.
Essential Requirements
The following are essential requirements for this role:
* A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required for this role.
* Understanding of and a commitment to the aims of the National Parks & Wildlife Service including a sound appreciation of natural and cultural heritage conservation issues.
* Experience in cash handling procedures, stock control, and ordering.
* Experience in computers and using word processing and spreadsheets.
* A current driver's license.
