We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Estate Groundskeeper / Garden Caretaker to oversee the daily maintenance and presentation of a substantial private rural estate located in Mount George, South Australia.
Set on approximately 4.57 hectares, the property requires a consistently immaculate standard of care. This is a long-term, hands-on role for a professional who takes genuine pride in maintaining high-end gardens, landscaped surrounds, and open paddock areas.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and ongoing presentation of the entire estate, ensuring all gardens, grounds, and outdoor areas are maintained to a pristine standard at all times.
Key duties include (but are not limited to):
* Comprehensive daily garden and grounds maintenance
* Pruning, hedging, mowing, trimming, and detailed garden care
* Maintaining rose gardens, flowering plants, trees, and established landscaping
* Weed management, including control and removal of blackberry bushes
* Clearing and removal of leaves, branches, twigs, and garden debris
* Maintaining the perimeter of the residence in a neat and orderly condition
* Upkeep of outer paddock areas, ensuring grass is kept low and well presented
* Managing and maintaining designated burn-off piles, including controlled burning as required
* Daily cleaning and basic maintenance of the swimming pool
* Proactively identifying and addressing maintenance needs to preserve the quality of the estate
