About the role
At Binna Burra Mountain Lodge, we are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Assistant Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our beautiful eco-lodge nestled in the Beechmont QLD 4211 region. Your attention to detail and leadership skills will be essential in ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and comfortable stay.
What you'll be doing
* Assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department
* Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and high-quality service
* Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our exceptional cleanliness standards
* Provide training and mentorship to the housekeeping team to develop their skills and expertise
* Manage inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies to maintain sufficient stock levels
* Implement and maintain efficient housekeeping processes and procedures
* Liaise with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the housekeeping function
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar housekeeping supervisory role within the hospitality industry
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team
* Proven track record in implementing efficient housekeeping processes and procedures
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
* Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Binna Burra is a 35 minute drive from Nerang or Canungra, and a 45 minute drive from the Gold Coast; own transport is essential. Free parking is provided but there is no on-site accommodation.
