About the Position
The Associate Executive Dean – Collaborative Articulation Program (CAP) provides academic and operational leadership for AEMG's discipline-based articulation programs delivered in partnership with Chinese universities and global partner institutions. The role ensures that CAP offerings are academically sound, pedagogically aligned, and compliant with relevant institutional and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Academic Program Oversight
Provide academic leadership and coordination across CAP partnerships to ensure curriculum integrity and delivery consistency
2.Team Leadership & Academic Staffing
Lead and manage Discipline Coordinators across key subject areas in support of CAP partnerships, fostering collaboration, capability development and quality delivery
3.Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure all academic activities meet relevant internal, partner university and regulatory standards
4.Student Pathway Management
Monitor and support student transfer processes into global partner universities
5.Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with internal stakeholders, partner universities and Chinese institutions to maintain alignment and support delivery of CAP objectives
6.Academic Strategy & Innovation
Contribute to the strategic direction of the CAP portfolio in response to sector trends and partner needs
Qualifications & Experience:
A doctoral degree in a field relevant to Education, a relevant discipline area, or academic leadership
A minimum of 8–10 years of academic experience, including curriculum leadership or senior program administration
Proven track record in academic planning, quality assurance, and student-centered education
Demonstrated understanding of post-secondary access, academic pathways, and student transition models
Experience managing interdisciplinary teams and working across academic and administrative units
Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-cultural communication skills, particularly in the Chinese and global university context
Strong commitment to educational equity, access, and inclusive excellence
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
