**The Role**
An outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced Area Manager to join the Fenner Conveyor's WA Service Team. Reporting to the WA Manager, you will be responsible for planning and directing sales activities to maximise profitability within the assigned territory in line with set objectives and budgets.
You will contribute to overall business plan of the assigned region by developing and implementing actions and initiative that will positively impact the safety, financial and operational performance of that region.
To be successful in this position you will need to be capable of developing strategic business relationships with existing and potential major accounts to promote service offerings and sustain ongoing business relationships maximising organisational presence for your area.
**In this varied and interesting role, your key responsibilities will include**:
- Plan and monitor cost to ensure effectiveness of service activities to optimise resource utilisation, costs, inventory, and customer satisfaction
- Contribute towards continuous improvement of processes and systems
- Represent the organisation as required at relevant formal meetings, working groups/committees, community / industry events
- Drive business development through client engagement and coaching and mentoring sales and service staff in on-selling Fenner Conveyor's products and services
- Actively participate in project / major work tenders as required
**To excel in this role, you'll need the right mix of skills and experience, which for this position means**:
- Significant experience leading and managing people - ability to coach, engage and coordinate work teams
- Previous experience of working in a pressurised environment, delivering to tight deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of mining operations
- Be able to effectively resolve problems as they arise with positive outcomes
- Advanced conveyor systems and industry knowledge including general conveyor system / belt maintenance, belt splicing, rubber lining and lagging
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
