Overview
A successful Corporate Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA or CA.
* Experience working in a Big 4 or Mid Tier accounting firm.
* Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Experience with accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive approach to improving processes and systems.
Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including providing technical accounting advice to all areas of the Group as required.
* Assist with coordination of external audit processes alongside the Finance team and external stakeholders.
* Prepare accurate and timely month end, covering intercompany processes, journals, and robust reconciliations.
* Develop and document relevant processes and procedures.
* Apply knowledge and core accounting concepts to develop insights to assist in business growth and/or cost saving.
* Review and manage compliance, regulatory requirements, internal controls, accounting policies and procedures.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across all areas of the Group.

Permanent full-time position based in West Perth with onsite parking. Hybrid working arrangement (one day from home per week).
