Key Responsibilities
* Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and Finance streams.
* Supporting Finance transactional team with day-to-day operational and working capital improvements.
* Lead and monitor accounting standard, reporting, financial systems, and processes.
* Business partnering with sales and operations.
* Pro-actively drive continuous improvement of accounting processes and related finance systems.
* Month-end accounting including journals and reconciliations.
* Preparation of monthly management reports and analysis of variances against budgets and forecasts.
* Ensuring the business is provided with high quality, accurate and timely reporting to drive results.
* Ensure all transactional processes comply with accounting standards and accounting policies.
About you
* CPA/CA qualifications and a minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
* Costing experience in the manufacturing industry with a sound understanding of overhead management (desirable).
* Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant standards.
* Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (financial modelling and analysis).
* Microsoft Business Central and Jet reporting experience (desirable).
* Strong people skills and communication skills (both written and verbal).
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
