Barung Landcare is a community-based environmental organisation supporting conservation and restoration across the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. We operate native plant nurseries, revegetation services, and deliver environmental education programs
We are seeking an organised and reliable Administration Support Officer to support the smooth day-to-day running of the organisation.
About the Role
This role provides essential administrative and clerical support to staff and the Management Committee. You will maintain accurate records, support financial administration processes and help ensure office systems remain organised and efficient.
* General office administration and record keeping
* Maintaining shared email inboxes, phone enquiries and correspondence
* Preparing meeting documents and assisting with minutes
* Supporting payroll and accounts administration processes
* Maintaining financial documentation and grant records
* Maintaining shared documents and organisational systems within Google Workspace
About you
Essential:
* You are organised, detail-focused and able to manage competing tasks efficiently, confidently prioritising your workload and using strong time management skills to meet deadlines
* Experienced in clerical or administrative roles
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
* Experience in not-for-profit or community organisations
* Experience supporting payroll and accounts processes
* Familiarity with grant applications and acquittals
