Overview
Share & Care Community Services Group – Northam WA. This position will work in collaboration with the Family & Domestic Violence Response Team (including WA Police and Department of Communities - Child Protection Services) in assisting victim survivors (adult & children) with timely and early intervention to improve safety, assess risk and support (referrals and service linkages). You will work within our Family & Domestic Violence Coordinated Response Team and relieve as required in our other Family & Domestic Violence programs.
Hours
60+ hours (including every second weekend)
Responsibilities
* Support clients with a person centered approach
* Provide services with empathy and compassion
* Effective communication in the workplace
* Positive work ethic and commitment to the organisation
* Complete clear documentation, case management and case note writing
* Work across other Family & Domestic Violence areas
Skills and experience
* Certificate III in community services (or willing to obtain) or relevant experience in the industry
* Knowledge of Family & Domestic Violence and the impacts and effects on victim survivors
* Computer literacy skills
* Knowledge of Wheatbelt towns (travel is required)
* Driver's license
* Working with children check

Founded in 1975 by a concerned group of community members in the town of Northam, the Share and Care organisation today has grown to provide 23 various services, and covers 250,000 square kilometers of the Coastal, Wheatbelt and Upper Great Southern areas.
