Responsibilities:
* Assist the Sous Chef in preparing foods for assigned kitchen outlets
* Maintain a clean and sanitary working area, adhering to local and state health department codes
* Serve all guests according to established quality standards and portion sizes
* Evaluate and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal health department codes in food preparation and service areas
* Adhere to departmental standards and procedures
* Promote positive public/employee relations at all times
* Ensure a safe and hazard-free work environment within their area of responsibility
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Culinary apprenticeship or A.O.S. degree from a culinary institution preferred
Work Environment:
* Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
* Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
