About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for someone with a life sciences background to join our dynamic biotechnology team as a trainee patent attorney on a full-time basis in Sydney.
Responsibilities:
* Meet inventors to determine proposed inventions' nature and assess their patentability.
* Interpret technical search results and advise clients.
* Correspond with local and overseas clients regarding intellectual property matters.
Qualifications:
* A desirable field of expertise is biological sciences.
* Postdoctoral experience or industry experience is valued.
* Excellent English language skills and clear communication are essential.
