Manufacturing & Logistics | Food Industry | Western Australia
A leading, employee-owned organisation in the Australian seafood sector is seeking a hands-on Production Controller / Team Leader to join its processing operations in a metro-based facility. Known for its commitment to sustainability and premium-quality food products, the business supports both local producers and international markets.
About the Role In this frontline leadership role, you will oversee daily production activities across a range of high-quality seafood products—from raw to cooked formats—ensuring all operations are safe, efficient, and compliant with food quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Champion a Safety-First Culture: Ensure adherence to workplace safety and security protocols.
* Uphold Food Quality Standards: Oversee compliance with HACCP, SQF, and other critical control processes.
* Meet Daily Operational Targets: Monitor productivity, resolve process issues, and allocate resources effectively.
* Promote Continuous Improvement: Identify and escalate opportunities to enhance operations.
* Lead a Diverse Team: Provide clear direction, coaching, and accountability across shifts.
* Foster a Positive Workplace Culture: Lead with respect, professionalism, and fairness.
