A well-established commercial builder is seeking an experienced Site Manager to deliver a range of education & child care projects across Melbourne's northern and western suburbs.
Projects will include multi-level childcare centres and school developments, typically ranging from $3M to $12M in value. This is a great opportunity to join a builder with a strong reputation in the education sector and a solid pipeline of upcoming work.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all onsite construction activities from site establishment through to completion
* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades onsite
* Drive the construction programme and ensure project milestones are met
* Maintain strong safety standards and site compliance
* Manage quality control, defects and project handover
* Work closely with the Project Manager and broader delivery team
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial construction projects
* Experience delivering education, childcare, or similar institutional projects as well as experience in live environments highly regarded
* Strong ability to manage subcontractors and site programmes
* Solid understanding of structure through to finishes
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Stable work history with reputable builders
