About the Role
This civilian role is part of the Australian Public Service (APS) workforce within Navy, providing specialist mental health support and research services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive mental health surveillance and data analysis to inform Navy policies and programs.
* Coordinate strategic research projects, including planning data collection, analysis and reporting to stakeholders.
* Communicate complex psychological trends and research outcomes with various Navy stakeholders.
* Develop and provide recommendations for action based on research outcomes.
The position supports Navy's mental health programs, conducts quality assurance activities and provides high-level technical advice to stakeholders. It also supports organisational psychology services, including specialist selection and assessments.
