Job Description
D&T Hydraulics and Engineering Pty Ltd are a local family-owned cylinder repair & manufacturing business. This dedicated workforce is supported by technical, sales and support staff guaranteeing projects and the workforce is managed in a professional manner without compromising, quality, safety or the environment. We require motivated & experienced Fitters & Turners to join the team in our expanding facility in Mackay, Queensland.
We are highly reputable and boast a modern workshop with excellent working environment. Key Responsibilities:
* Disassemble, inspect, report and reassemble hydraulic cylinders and components
* Prepare and operate machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc
* Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc
* Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
Key Requirements:
* Applicant must have at least 1-Year of relevant employment experience
* Applicant will ideally hold relevant vocational or tertiary qualifications
* Be highly motivated;
* Have a good work ethic:
* Be reliable, punctual and hardworking;
* Have a strong attention to detail;
* Be able to work in a team environment;
* Have drivers licence and own transport;
* Be committed to safety & quality policies and procedures.
Job Benefits:

* Salary between $80,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation
