Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a trade qualified Field Service Diesel Technician to join our William Adams team based out of our Wodonga branch .
This is a full-time permanent position, working a 5 x 2 (Monday - Friday) roster.

Your typical day will include:
* Onsite technical troubleshooting and fault finding including; diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on Cat equipment and their components; hydraulics, transmissions and engines
* Providing outstanding customer service to our loyal customers
* Compiling and completing accurate reporting
* Working autonomously to manage your time and maximise efficiency
* Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
* Liaising with our internal service and parts department
* Maintaining a William Adams service vehicle
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
* Be a qualified Diesel Technician with extensive experience with Caterpillar machines (or similar)
* Be able to service customers and their equipment to a very high standard
* Have advanced mechanical diagnostic skills with Cat computer diagnostics knowledge (great to have)
* A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
* A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
* Hold a current Drivers and Light Rigid Licence (heavy vehicle licence is also highly regarded)
* Proven ability to be self-motivated and to work unsupervised
