The Manager also leads precinct and visitor safety planning, manages funding applications and reporting for land management plans and strategies, and provides expert advice, tools, and capability development to support the effective delivery of strategic planning outcomes. Through this work, the role ensures alignment with organisational objectives, legislative requirements, and conservation and visitor priorities. The role is critical to the success of Parks Victoria, as the organisation undergoes significant transformation, getting ‘back to basics' to improve its performance in ensuring Victoria's diverse network of parks and reserves remain accessible for all visitors to enjoy, while protecting natural and cultural values. About Parks Victoria The Strategy, Planning and Programs Division brings together multidisciplinary teams that design and/or deliver priority statewide programs and services, and that collect and interpret data and information, provide expert direction and advice, develop fit for purpose strategies, frameworks, policies and procedures.
