We are a established boutique financial planning practice in Shellharbour and are seeking a Client Service Consultant to join our team. This is a full-time position and is integral to the smooth operations in the practice, providing exceptional client service and support to our clients, our advisers and our team.

Main responsibilities

* Working closely with advisers and partners to assist in coordinating the development, delivery and implementation of advice and to assist in responding to and managing client communications.

* Proactively assist in the management of the client review process, including checking and preparing documentation prior to and post meetings.

* Contribute to the preparation of advice documents.

* Actively communicating with advisers on the progress of advice.

* Schedule appointments with current and potential clients.

* Maintain accurate records in the businesses systems.

* Completion of your set professional development plan.

* You may also be required to conduct initial assessments of potential client's suitability for advice and work with advisers to smoothly onboard new clients.

* Other activities, as required by the business from time to time.


Qualifications and Experience

* Experience in a financial advice support role and in supporting advisers to execute financial advice.

* Experience with financial advice technology.

* Client management and communications skills.

Desirable

* Undergraduate qualifications.

* Specialist accreditations.

* Paraplanning experience.

Technical skills

* Ability to use initiative and work autonomously in ensuring deadlines are met.

* Well developed verbal and written communication skills including strong relationship building skills.

* Demonstrated PC literacy.

* Financial advice strategy and product knowledge.

* Proven client management skills.

* Excellent personal organisation and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate workflow through priortisation of tasks, diary management etc.
