• Integral role supporting our team at Jellinbah | Work autonomouslyAbout the positionWe are actively seeking an experienced Site Administrator to provide administrative support and act as a point of contact, based at the Jellinbah mine site.
Reporting to the Area Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assisting site management teams in data input, systems maintenance, and other administrative duties of commercial and clerical nature.
As this is a residential role permanently based at Jellinbah, we strongly encourage applications from candidates residing in the Blackwater region or surrounding suburbs.
Core accountabilities include:- Liaise with head office personnel on issues regarding payroll and accounts
- Maintain file archive records and compliance
- Maintain and order stationary
- Manage daily to weekly spreadsheets and records (training, crew allocation, fuel, visitors, travel/accommodation, etc.)
- Provide administrative support and assistance to Supervisors, Superintendents and Managers
- Check and enter weekly timesheet entries for crews
- Receipting and supplier invoice management duties
- Maintain a high level of accurate data entry in multiple systems
- Provide support in developing quality assurance documentation
- Contribute to a respectful and inclusive work environment
- Assist and complete ad hoc tasks as required
Essential Requirements
• Demonstrated experience in an administrative role
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to liaise with people at all levels
• Effective time management and organisational skills
• Ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality
• Commitment to safety and efficiency
• Ability to work well within a team and autonomously
• Current drivers licence
• National Police Clearance (Less than 3 months old or willing to obtain)
• Current QLD Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
• Standard 11 (or willing to obtain)
Desirable Requirements
• Exposure to training, employment and HR administration
• Systems experience (Pronto, ConnX, Myosh and Arrowtail highly regarded)
• Experience or exposure to mining, heavy industries, or similar environments
