Join Our Team at Rollers Bakehouse!
We are looking for a creative and motivated Pastry Chef to join our team and help deliver high-quality baked goods while maintaining top-tier standards of cleanliness, presentation, and safety. In this role, you'll play a key part in producing delicious pastries and bakery items and contributing to the smooth daily operation of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and plan innovative recipes to feature on our menu, ensuring fresh and exciting offerings.
* Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, baked goods, and other bakery items, ensuring consistency and quality in every product.
* Create new seasonal recipes and incorporate fresh, high-quality ingredients into menu offerings.
* Decorate pastries to ensure beautiful and tasteful presentation.
* Ensure all baked products meet high-quality standards and are consistent in taste, texture, and presentation.
* Ensure compliance with WHS (Work Health and Safety) legislation and adhere to all food safety regulations.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of a Food Safety System, including training, compliance, and documentation.
* Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and ensure safe work methods are in place.
Qualifications:
* 2-3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role, with demonstrated leadership skills
* Strong knowledge of pastry production techniques, recipes, and ingredients
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and lead a team
* Understanding of WHS legislation and food safety standards
