Role Overview
As a Lawyer or Senior Lawyer in the Regulatory Law Unit, you will:
1. Advise on administrative law matters and provide legal and policy advice on complex issues relating to the ACCC's regulatory and digital functions.
2. Conduct legal research on matters relevant to the ACCC's responsibilities.
3. Contribute to policy development and legislative initiatives.
4. Assist in investigations, court proceedings, and compliance enforcement.
Qualifications and Experience
Lawyers (APS6) should have at least three years of relevant practice experience; Senior Lawyers (EL1) should have significant experience advising in relevant legal areas and be capable of working autonomously.
Applicants must:
* Be admitted to practice in Australia or be able to be admitted before starting.
* Have experience working effectively with stakeholders.
* Communicate complex legal advice clearly.
* Have prior legal experience in administrative decision-making, regulation, competition, consumer, or enforcement matters.

Salary Range
* Lawyer 1 (APS6): $99,562 - $111,590 + superannuation
* Lawyer 1 (EL1): $123,702 - $153,880 + superannuation
