Job Summary: ASEAN & South Pacific Operating Unit Marketing is undergoing a step‐change to deliver balanced, sustainable growth. This people manager role will act as the Sparkling Flavors Category Lead for Australia, focusing on developing brand growth, creative and innovation strategy to drive sustainable business growth. The role partners with Global Category Lead (GCL) and OU Category Lead for Sprite & Fanta & Schweppes.
Responsibilities
* Provide input on high‐level category agenda and global brand strategy (positioning, occasions & channels, visual identity, passion points, creative, innovation) based on local consumer insights.
* Recommend 3‐year country projects and 2‐year IMX campaigns to the Australia Marketing Lead.
* For local IMX campaigns and innovation projects, develop and align briefs, oversee creation and pre‐testing, and approve final project bundle.
* Define brand calendar at market level and allocate OU‐controlled DME to activity types.
* Support development of channel and in‐store execution plans, supporting bottling partners and customers.
* Improve financial performance (NSR, OI, margins) by recommending LRP and ABP growth targets and continuously improving metrics (e.g., weekly drinkers, shopper basket incidence, brand equity) through performance management.
Experience & Critical Requirements
* 10+ years of marketing and leadership experience, including insight & analytics, brand/portfolio strategy, innovation, complex program management and P&L ownership.
* Experience across innovation, creative strategy, connections, design, category/brand positioning and growth strategy.
* Led scaled, complex, cross‐functional and cross‐geographical teams and projects.
* Directly led and developed teams.
* Advanced business and commercial acumen.
* Growth mindset – curious, ambitious, able to take on hard challenges and work with an enterprise mindset.
Communication Focus
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills; influential with senior executives.
* Build and leverage relationships with key business partners, both internally and externally.
