Livestock Area Sales Manager – Central Queensland
Virbac Australia has an exciting opportunity for aLivestock Area Sales Managerto join our team, focusing on theCentral Queenslandterritory.
This full-time position is integral to driving business objectives and growth within the Queensland region.
We are seeking a highly driven, self-motivated individual to drive results in line with team and organisational strategies.
You'll be the driving force behind achieving the territory's gross sales targets, focusing on building and maintaining strong partnerships with our distribution channels, existing accounts, and influential figures in the livestock industry.
What you'll be accountable for
Successfully meet and exceed the annual gross sales target for the territory.
Implement approved marketing plans and campaigns tailored to the local livestock market to drive sales and maximise profitability.
Develop and maintain effective, enduring business relationships with key livestock accounts, veterinary clinics, rural resellers, and distribution partners.
Provide exceptional communication and service to solidify Virbac's image as a trusted leader in animal health within the Queensland livestock industry.
Deliver regular, insightful reports detailing business highlights, competitor activity, emerging opportunities, and strategic suggestions for growth.
To be successful in this role, you will have
A minimum of2 years of experiencein a sales-related role, with a strong preference for candidates withAnimal Health or Rural Agribusinessexperience.
Averifiable track recordof achieving and exceeding sales targets.
A sound, practical knowledge of professional selling skills and processes.
Solid understanding of thelivestock industry, animal health market, and the unique challenges and opportunities in Queensland.
Excellent negotiation abilities, focused on building mutually beneficial relationships and successfully closing deals.
Competence in PC skills, including intermediate ability withMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Relevant industry or job qualifications are required.Tertiary qualifications in agriculture, veterinary science, or businessare highly desirable.
A willingness and ability totravel regularlythroughout the territory is essential.
