This is an exciting time to join NRW Civil & Mining as we continue to secure newly awarded and upcoming projects across the business. We are now seeking applications from experienced Quality Engineers to support our project teams and uphold the highest standards of compliance and performance. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in quality management within the civil or mining industry and will be responsible for driving audit activities, supporting documentation requirements, and ensuring adherence to project and corporate quality systems.
To be considered for this position as a Quality Engineer you must possess the following as a minimum:
* Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Engineering
* Relevant audit qualifications e.g., lead auditor/ quality auditor/ internal auditor
* Document control experience
* Knowledge of using bespoke QA/doc control systems such as TeamBinder or Citrix
* Experience with implementation of corrective and improvement action programs
* Experience with Earthworks within the Civil industry
* Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
* Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Excel and MS office suite
As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible for; but not limited to:
* Supporting the project teams as required in relation to quality and in particular assist in the timely submission of the MDR
* Coordinating all activities and tasks related to document control and company archiving
* Overseeing the subcontractor prequalification process
* Maintaining registers as required
* Filing and registering of commercial contract/agreement documentation
* Developing excel spreadsheets as required
* Supporting the Quality team in maintaining third party quality accreditations
* Supporting the Quality team in maintaining NRW's quality management system Planning and conducting internal quality audits
* Preparing detailed audit reports and identify corrective actions and process improvements
* Raising and tracking profess of audit actions
* Assisting in the auditing or participation in audits of high-risk subcontractor/suppliers as directed
* Ensuring and maintaining accuracy of data on the NRW Intranet
* Formatting of documents and spreadsheets in line with NRW corporate and document style guides
* Writing of NRW system policies, procedures and forms as required
