Technical Solutions Engineer (PV & BESS)

An established organisation in the renewable energy industry is seeking a Technical Solution Engineer to support the delivery and promotion of advanced solar and energy‑storage technologies. This position is well‑suited to someone who enjoys technical problem‑solving, working with customers, and contributing to large‑scale clean‑energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical guidance during pre‑sales discussions for solar and battery‑related equipment.
* Act as a primary technical contact for clients, offering clear and timely support.
* Prepare detailed solution documents, design inputs, and technical material for project proposals and tender submissions.
* Review engineering documents and collaborate with commercial teams to ensure accuracy and quality.
* Take part in technical presentations, workshops, and industry events to showcase technology solutions.
* Keep up to date with relevant standards, regulations, and industry expectations.
* Monitor developments in solar, storage, and related technologies.
* Contribute insights on market demand, customer feedback, and technology trends.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Full working rights in Australia.
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Power Systems, Automation, or a closely related field (postgraduate degree is beneficial).
* Minimum of three years' experience in the renewable energy sector.
* Understanding of solar system design, battery‑energy‑storage concepts, and electrical fundamentals.
* Competence with CAD tools and standard office software.
* Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Self‑motivated, adaptable, and confident working with varied internal and external stakeholders.
* Background working with inverter suppliers, EPC contractors, or utility‑scale energy developers.
