A leading national manufacturing business is looking to recruit a skilled Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. The role will provide broad exposure across the group and will play a key role in supporting the business through its next phase of growth. Base pay range
A$140,000.00/yr - A$150,000.00/yr
Key duties
- Lead and execute month end and year end closing processes including accruals to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting that will aid in key decision making
- Coordinate and support quarterly and annual audits
- Prepare BAS & PAYG
- Analyze payroll expenses, reconciliations and journals
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Drive process improvements and support systems initiatives
- Business partnering across multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Supervise and coach junior team members
- Demonstrate experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Proven ability to improve processes
- Confident with systems including Excel
Qualifications and experience
- Experience in a similar Senior Financial Accountant role
- Strong analytical, reporting and financial modelling skills
- Ability to work with stakeholders across the business
