What's involved in the role?
Home Care Support Workers in delivering a comprehensive range of 'In-Home Care services. These dedicated professionals primarily work independently in client homes while receiving direct support from their Care Manager.
The key responsibilities and duties of Home Care Support Workers encompass:
Provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and medication assistance.
Deliver in-home support and assist with household tasks, including meal preparation, light housework, and shopping.
Coordinate transportation for medical appointments and outings, ensuring our clients stay connected to their community.
Review care plans, identify client objectives and requirements, and maintain crucial information using our user-friendly app.
Ensure client safety by identifying and addressing any potential risks.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following skills, experience, and credentials:
Certificate III or higher in Community Care, with specialisation in Disability, Individual Support, or Ageing Support.
Flexible availability to work a range of hours between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday.
Possession of a valid Motor Vehicle License (Full C Class or Unrestricted International).
Access to your own registered, reliable, and comprehensively insured motor vehicle.
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or a willingness to obtain one.
Willingness to undergo a National Criminal Check (not older than 12 months) or a commitment to obtaining one.
Possession of a current Working with Vulnerable People Card.
Proof of current Flu Vaccination (recommended).
Evidence of Covid Vaccination (essential).

Note: Please be aware that we do not guarantee a specific number of hours for employment. The duration of shifts and the level of support provided is determined by the client's individual needs and preferences. Some clients may require up to 30 hours per week, while others may only need assistance for a few hours every fortnight. We respect the autonomy of our clients to decide the frequency and duration of support that best suits their requirements.
