Goulburn is a regional city located in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, positioned approximately 195 kilometres southwest of Sydney and about 90 kilometres northeast of Canberra. A long-serving GP at the clinic will soon be relocating, and the team is now seeking a new doctor to take over their well-established patient base. The practice is known for providing a welcoming, patient-focused environment designed to put individuals at ease while offering high-quality care. This same supportive culture extends to the clinical team. Feedback from previous and current GPs frequently highlights the practice’s flexibility, supportive atmosphere, and collaborative approach. Comprehensive support is available onsite, including a practice nurse, pathology services, and allied health professionals such as a psychologist and dietitian. Additional services include audiometry, sleep studies, INR testing, ECG, spirometry, and robust care planning systems—ensuring both doctors and patients are well-supported. The successful doctor will have access to a comprehensive range of services, including: On-site Pathology Radiology Services – Daily reporting by radiologists at both locations, including access to private and hospital X-ray facilities (open Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm). Proximity to Goulburn Base Hospital – Located just across the road, staffed by two specialist physicians, two surgeons, one paediatrician, and one obstetrician. Visiting Specialists – Regular clinics run by an endocrinologist, cardiologist, ENT specialist, orthopaedic surgeon, and urologist. St John of God Hospital – A fully accredited rehabilitation and palliative care facility located just two blocks from the surgery. On-site Allied Health Support – Including psychologist, dietitian, audiometry services, and sleep studies. The practice is well-supported by emergency services. While the standard ambulance transfer time to Goulburn Base Hospital is approximately 30 minutes, urgent cases are prioritised and transferred in under 5 minutes. Participation in weekday after-hours work is not required, although doctors may opt in if they wish. Remuneration: Earnings will depend on the number of days worked and the practitioner’s level of experience, with a potential income upto $300,000 per annum.
