This strategic role plays a key part in enhancing financial performance and accountability across the business.
Main Responsibilities:

* Partner with operations to optimize profit through commercial analytics, recommendations, and performance improvement initiatives.

* Manage inventory valuation and stock control accounting for accurate inventory, COGS valuation, and product costing.

* Facilitate monthly planning cycles (IBP process), including rolling forecasts and deviation analysis.
">
* Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing, including reporting and analysis of financial performance.
">
* Enhance commercial understanding by explaining results and drivers, challenging plans, and influencing future strategies.
">
* Develop models to identify more efficient operational methods and lead profit improvement efforts.

* Maintain compliance with internal controls and accurate ledger records.

The Ideal Candidate:
">
An accounting degree and CPA or equivalent qualification are essential. Advanced Excel skills and experience with large ERP systems are also required. Knowledge of accounting standards and significant experience in similar manufacturing roles are desirable. Additionally, strong financial analysis skills, manufacturing reporting and KPI development, budgeting, forecasting, and planning expertise are necessary.
