We are seeking a Laundry Assistant to join our dedicated Linen team. This casual position is available for an immediate start and includes working Monday to Friday. This role is responsible for various duties in Production including linen sorting, ironing, folding, packing, loading / unloading of washers & dryers and cleaning of laundry area. The successful applicant will work to a high standard within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Selection Criteria include:
Essential:
1. Ability to perform physical related tasks to a high standard
2. Sound communication verbal and written skills
3. Ability to work as an effective team member
4. Understanding of OH&S principles and its application in the workplace
5. Attention to detail
Desirable:
6. Relative laundering experience within a laundry/linen service or other commercial field
7. Experience in the operation of laundry machinery
