About The Team
A Sr. Technical Consultant is part of Workday's APAC Technical Services organization, focused on implementing our cloud-based software and helping customers maximize the platform.
About The Role
The Sr. Technical Consultant collaborates with the client's project team to design, develop, and deploy technical solutions, including integrations, data migrations, and reporting. They possess knowledge of core design principles, data modeling, project methodology, and have a track record of successful delivery.
About You
We seek driven, innovative consultants passionate about technology and problem-solving. You excel at simplifying complex ideas, understanding client needs, and finding creative solutions. You are proactive, independent, and eager to learn new technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
* At least 6 years of experience in data migration, integration, report building, or software development, or in technical consulting, requirements gathering, or solution design, or domain experience in HR, Payroll, Financials, Supply Chain, or Australian Public Service.
* Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance or existing clearance.
* Experience leading an integration workstream in software implementations.
Additional Qualifications
* Experience working with or within the Australian Public Service.
* Understanding of the full software implementation lifecycle.
* Active Workday Implementer or PRO Certification is advantageous.
* Participation in at least 3 full lifecycle software implementations.
* Advanced skills in EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, or other integration technologies.
* Expertise with Workday integration tools like EIB, Document Transformation, Workday Studio.
* Experience across all project stages: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment.
* Strong creative thinking, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing environments.
* Willingness to travel up to 25%.
