Charity People is proud to partner with The Talent Foundry to find an exceptional Director for a maternity cover contract. This role leads a talented team, oversees a portfolio of impactful programmes, and manages strategic relationships with corporate partners.
Salary:
£62,500 (full-time)
Contract:
Fixed-term, minimum 9 months (maternity cover)
Location:
Home-based/hybrid with national travel 2-3 days a month, plus monthly team days in London and partner visits.

About The Talent Foundry

About the Role
The Director will deliver the programme and partnership strategy, ensuring high-quality, innovative work aligned with the ambition **** strategy, and represent the charity at a senior level with funders, business leaders, and education stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic direction of programme delivery and corporate partnerships.
Manage and develop a high-performing team fostering an inclusive culture.
Oversee the delivery of innovative, high-quality programmes that meet the needs of young people and partners.
Build and sustain long-term relationships with corporate partners, ensuring alignment with the mission.
Collaborate with the CEO and senior colleagues to drive organisational strategy, performance, and sustainability.
About you
Strong track record of managing high-value corporate partnerships or funder relationships.
Significant experience in programme leadership, ideally in youth, education, or social impact sectors.
Experience at senior leadership level, responsible for team performance, strategy, and budget.
Strategic mindset with ability to lead change and drive innovation.
Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills.
Collaborative, values-driven approach and passion for supporting young people.
